Happy new year everyone!! Its now 2010, the year of our wedding. New years day was also our two year anniversary. Its definitely an exciting mile stone. I haven’t written any updates lately because I guess we’ve been on an unofficial break from wedding planning for the holidays. We had a great time focusing on our [...] I have PLENTY of time to plan and execute all of my wedding ideas, especially since I’m so ahead on everything. But one side effect of being engaged is the creative frenzy that developed in other areas of my life besides just the wedding planning. At the moment I’m on a spending freeze in order [...] Anyone who knows me or who has talked to me about my wedding planning knows that I’m WAY ahead on all of the details I have to get done. I think it’s because I just really thrive on tackling huge creative projects. So thankfully I’ll be able to temporarily displace this creative itch by helping [...] We put down a deposit! Now we have a wedding date and a venue. I’m very excited, but I don’t think it has fully hit Joe yet. Now I get to really solidify a visual style for the wedding and I can start on the other fun aspects of wedding planning that have been on [...] We visited a couple more venues of the past two days and i think we finally have it narrowed down to our top three choice. While Joe and I have different preferences for what we are looking for in a reception venue, I think we have at least agreed that we’d both be open to [...] In terms of all the many details we have yet to plan for our wedding, we’ve basically only just begun the process. However, the first step definitely seems like the most difficult that I can foresee. The reception venue will end up being the largest chunk of our budget, so its not something to [...] |
