Maid of Honor:
Nicole Szabo
Nicole is my little sister. She’s been my best friend since we were kids. My mom used to worry that we spent too much time together to the point that we were not making other friends. Nicole is the one person in my life who can make me laugh till it hurts like no one else. Somehow we never seem to run out of things to talk about.
Bridesmaids:
May Wang
May is one of my closest college girlfriends. We share a love for active (jam packed) social lives and really bonded after rooming together for two years. May has been with me and heard me out through every heart ache and guy drama I experienced before I met Joe. Now that I don’t have to worry about those things anymore, I’m so glad that she can be a part of my marriage to the the guy I was finally meant to be with.
Tina Gong
I also got to know Tina in college and she also one of my closest friends from that time in my life. I actually first met Tina when she was my Chinese TA, but we really bonded when I roomed with her (with May) for two years. Our strongest common interest is our love for baseball. Whenever I try to trash talk about baseball with her, she easily defeats me with her quick comebacks.
Jennifer Jeng
I got to know Jenn through her brother Tim (fellow CMU alum) when I moved to NYC. Now she is one of my closest girlfriends and party buddies. Jenn and I share a love for fashion, style, interior decorating, and a general appreciation for beauty. Jenn was actually a catalyst for my relationship with Joe. She and her husband Chris were pushing us together before we even knew we had interest in each other.
Groomsmen/Best Men:
Christopher Jeng
I knew Chris since high school, but we didn’t really get close till college. We were roommates that grew to love everything about each other. We had a lot in common (clean, goodlooking, stylish, and goodlooking) and still to this day have those same qualities. We had countless nights staying up chatting like girls or watching anime. Chris has helped me a lot since college and I see him as my brother.
Jimmy King
I also met Jimmy in college, but we met through the game CS (counterstrike). I still to this day don’t fully remember how we decided to hang out one day at Sportsworld, but since then we have become awesome friends. I can always depend on Jimmy to help me out with my problems and he is always honest. He has become one of my closest and most trusted friends.
Joseph Hsu
AKA Scruff has been a friend of mine since high school. We met through our friend Amy in sophomore year and he kinda just stuck to me, because I had a cool book bag. (jk) Scruff and I have this crazy friendship where we can talk about deep things like religion and relationships to fecal matter and how he likes to wear sarongs. But he has been there for me since then and today I see him as one of my closest friends.
Kevin Yuan
I grew up with Kev, we were in the same kindergarten class all the way up to high school. I don’t know what my childhood would have been without Kev. I remember having snowball fights in his backyard and going over to school him in basketball…. or maybe it was the other way around. But he truly has been a great friend since the beginning and always knows how to turn a bad situation into a good time.
